Rodrick Pleasant, a senior at Gardena Serra High in California, repeated in both the boys 100-meter dash and 200-meter final at the CIF State Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis. Pleasant ran a wind-legal 10.20 seconds in the 100 and clocked a wind-legal 20.67 seconds, becoming the first male athlete in the state to sweep both sprint crowns in consecutive years since Sherman Oaks Notre Dame's Khalfani Muhammad in 2012-13.
